Addendum

The reason I was in Greenland, in the dream, was because my benefactors had been inspired by the elevated highway from Boston to La Havre that was built back in sixty one to ship commie-fighting tanks. For reasons unknown it was torn down before it could be turned to commercial use. Still my company thought that something similar might be useful for civilians. A freeway from Quebec to Labrador to Greenland to Iceland to Ireland to Liverpool. I was in Greenland to pitch the idea to the locals, I would tell them how Nuuk would be home to a Subway and a Cracker Barrel and a Stucky's and a porn shop and an illicit fireworks depot and a Super 8. I don't think I ever got around to talking to anyone about the project though.
