There was an MTV show, a couple years after the turn of the century, they would send pop stars to third world countries for psuedo-Peace Corps type 'work.' There was this one episode where they sent Mya to somewhere in, Central Africa I think. She talked about how spiritual it was, naturally.
Well, there was this one scene where Mya had a croowd of villagers gathered in a rough circle. They were all chanting and playing precussion instruments while she sang the chorus to 'Ghetto Superstar', over and over again, trying to build momentum to some sort of communial ecstasy.
I have no real point here, I just wanted to say that, this shit actually happened, is all.
