Speaking in favor of repealing the law, Rep. Connie O’Brien (R-KS) began telling an anecdote at the hearing about how her son had difficulty in getting financial assistance to attend college. She explained that she took her son to a financial aid office, and as she was waiting in line, she believed there was a girl waiting in line with them who was “not originally from this country.” Fellow committee member Rep. Sean Gatewood (D-KS) asked O’Brien how she knew this student was “illegal.” O’Brien replied that she knew because the student “wasn’t black, she wasn’t Asian, and she had the olive complexion”:

REP. O’BRIEN: My son who’s a Kansas resident, born here, raised here, didn’t qualify for any financial aid. Yet this girl was going to get financial aid. My son was kinda upset about it because he works and pays for his own schooling and his books and everything and he didn’t think that was fair. We didn’t ask the girl what nationality she was, we didn’t think that was proper. But we could tell by looking at her that she was not originally from this country. [...]



Connie O'Brian's verbal boner reveals the 'illegal means illegal' cry for what it so obviously is; a spoiled toddler screaming that it's just not fair, but since the cry is made by White adults who imagine themselves to be the natural ruling class of God's own Empire, the cry of 'it's not fair' must be made in a paternalistic, moralizing tone.

And of course they have nothing against legal immigration, no of course not. It's only those who break the law that they object to, of course. And how are they able to tell who's legal and whose illegal? Why, assimilation, don't you know. The legal ones are the ones who submit to an imaginary standard, concrete American culture, the WASPness of which being purely coincidental, since it is after all no more our choice than it is theirs to bow down to the eternally unchanging 100% Americanism. Legal immigrants speak perfect unaccented English within days of getting here, never watch soccer, and prefer Taylor Swift to Los Tigres de Norte.

If, on the other hand, you see two poor-looking fellows speaking Spanish in private conversation, there is no question that they are illegals. You can tell because if they really knew English they would know that it's the real language and would never speak their so-called mother tongues again even amongst each other. Why these devils would even start cumming in English if they only loved America enough to will themselves to learn it. and even if they do know English and still choose for whatever reason to speak their gutter tongue to each other, well, that won't do either. One needs to act American in public you know. It is essential to national security that everyone at the K-mart checkout line discuss their sister-in-laws ass in a uniform language.

And of course it's an outrage that their children should receive aid for college. Are we supposed to consider them innocent? Nobody made them break our laws just because their parents did. There's always a market for shoe shiners and prepubescent hookers down south. Nothing prevented these rats from staying in their own homes and supporting themselves.


Sarcasm aside though, exactly how many in the recent Latin wave to the Great Plains are illegal immigrants? The answer is as many as we can bring ourselves to imagine are so, by whatever available pretext, because again it comes down to 'it's not fair.' Because The loss of White demographic dominance, (and the loss of social dominance that must very soon follow from that, no matter how much legal brutality is dished out to the newcomers in however many statehouses.) is seen as illegitimate in itself. It simply can't be natural that we would ever lose control. There simply must be some menacing force behind it, some conspiracy, some malevolence. This is our country, this is our world, everything we see was personally made for us. This can't be happening. It's not fair.
